काठमाडौं, माघ १२ : उपप्रधान एवं अर्थमन्त्री विष्णु पोैडेललै भन्सार बिन्दुमा हुने चुहावट रोक्न सरकार निर्मम भएर लाग्ने प्रतिबद्धता गरेका छन्।

७१औं अन्तराष्ट्रिय भन्सार दिवसका अवसरमा भन्सार विभाग द्वारा बिहीबार काठमाडौंमा आयोजना भएको कार्यक्रममा अर्थमन्त्री पौडेलले बिगतका समयमा भन्सार बिन्दुबाट हुने चुहावट व्यापक बढ्दै गएको र यसको असर राजस्व परिचालनमा समेत परेको भन्दै चूहावट रोक्न सरकार निर्मम भएर लागीपर्ने बताएका छन्।

कुनै वस्तुको आयात घट्ने तर बजार सोही वस्तुको मौज्दात नै बढी हुने देखिएकाले यसले भन्सारका कानुनी प्रकियालाई समेत चुनौती दिने काम भएको उनले बताए। उनले वैध व्यापारलाई प्रोत्साहन र चुहावट रोक्न भन्सार बिभागले गम्भीर भएर काम गर्नुपर्ने बताए।

अर्थमन्त्री पौडेलले गत आर्थिक वर्षको यही अवधिको तुलना गर्दा यस आर्थिक वर्षमा १६ प्रतिशतले राजस्व परिचालनमा कमी भएको भन्दै यस्तो आँकडा सुनेर मात्रै बस्न सक्ने अवस्थामा सरकार नरहेको प्रष्ट पारे।

राजस्व परिचालनमा कमी आउनुमा विभिन्न तर्क सुनिने गरिएको भन्दै अर्थमन्त्री पौडेलले कुनै पनि तर्कले राजस्व संकलन गर्ने अभिभारा संकलन गर्ने जिम्मेवारीबाट उम्किन नमिल्ने धारणा राखे। उनले राजस्व परिचालनको क्षेत्रको कमजोरीलाई समाधान गर्दै निष्ठा र कार्यक्षमतालाई प्रभावकारी बनाउदै लक्ष्य भेटाउने काम गर्न समेत निर्देशन दिए।

मन्त्री पोैडेलले भन्सार क्षेत्रलाई थप आधुनिकीकरणका योजना निर्माण गर्न पनि सरकार प्रतिवद्ध रहेको धारणा राखे। अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय व्यापारमा प्रविधिमैत्री भएर अघि बढ्दा लागत कम हुने र व्यापारलाई सहजीकरण गर्न सकिने कुरामा उनको जोड छ।
